The Ballroom Book Bash
The
Ballroom Book Bash at the Highland Inn, co-sponsored by The
Chattahoochee Review, is a celebration of a newly-released books selected
on occasion. At the intersection of literature and fun you will experience
live music and adult refreshments in the newly refurbished historic ballroom
of The Highland
Inn, in Atlanta’s Poncey-Highland neighborhood. Whether
it’s Irvine Welsh, author of Trainspotting,
telling humorous tales of sexual love gone wrong, or Atlanta’s own bestselling
author, Karen Abbott (Sin in the Second City) offering
up anecdotes from the lives of bygone prostitutes to the tunes of Bernadette
Seacrest, The Ballroom Book Bash is always interesting, never
dull, and full of surprises.
