Robert Hicks, author of the best-selling novel The Widow of the South, returns with a new work, A Separate Country, based on the life of Confederate General John Bell Hood. You may remember Hicks as the editor of a very different kind of book: a collection of stories by songwriters called A Guitar and a Pen, which we presented at Decatur CD last year. We're looking forward to seeing another side of this multi-faceted and very entertaining writer.
