Combined edition: consists of first-edition sheets of two books earlier titles; Pound's 3rd & 4th books. 500 copies were supposedly (re)printed by the Chiswick Press. But it seems this number was not accurate and that there must have been less, if I understand correctly. This certainly appears to be a scarce book in any condition. Brown paper covered boards with gold lettering on spine. 3/4 inch chip of spine gone at top. Also spine starting to split along front edge of spine at bottom. Some rubing to spine, especially at bottom effecting publisher's name. Otherwise sound & intact. Previous owner's bookplate affixed to front pastedown. Moderate tanning/foxing to end pages & textblock edges. Interiors & text unmarked. Shallow scrap mark about one & one half inch across & a few other mild surface defects. Bottom corners bumped mildly.
