Brothers & Sisters was Compton-Burnett's 3rd published novel (1929), this ia a 'Reissue of her rare early & remarkable novel' (according to front cover of this 1950 reprint). I will agree with the remarkable part, though they all truly were that. (Five-inch x Seven & 1/2-inch) In heavily sun-darkened at spine with scatter of foxing & darkening across the plain gray cover. Price clipped. Darker grey cloth covered boards with brown lettering on spine. More spots/foxing textblock top edge & fore-edge. Clean internal text.
