George H. Doran. Hardcover. Used - Acceptable. Item #240524
Octavo. This book was published in 1920, but there is no date on this copy that I can find. Also the absence of the GHD colophon seems to indicate it is a reprint, though it is certainly an early reprint if indeed it is a reprint. The format appears to be same as the Doran first edition. The front free end page is missing and the hinge where the FFEP should be is split and the front board is holding on by threads. Quarter bound: rosy brown cloth spine with discolored and chipped title plate with black lettering on spine. Tan, stained leather with darkened, heavily worn edges. Another larger title plate (Four & 1/4-inch x Two-inch) with black lettering. Heavy wear to spine with flaking. Deeply darkened top textblock edge. Interior pages likewise tanned and has scattered through interior pages spots and foxing. A decent starter copy.
