Octavo. In very good dustjacket. Verso stained with ink transfer when boards were likely exposed to moisture. Also some tanning/foxing to verso mostly along spine. Flap is not clipped. Quarter bound: white cloth covered spine with stamped red lettering. Black cloth covered boards faded at bottom from same event that caused jacket ink staining. Binding appears to have been professionally repaired at gutter before title page. Edward Abbey's signature on front free end page. Stated, 'First Edition' with complete number line. Faint foxing textblock edges. Tanning to end pages front and rear. [383 pp.] This is an excellent collection of excerpts from Abbey's novels and non-fiction works.
