Octavo. First trade edition of the anthology, Dutch Treat. The three novels: The Hunted, Swag, & Mr. Majestyk had individually, previously been published in a variety of formats. Also Dutch Treat, the collection had once been issued in 'a limited first edition' by Mysterious Press. Nevertheless, this is a very good collection of Leonard at his best, arguably strongest period. DJ is darkened and worn at its edges with tears and small bundles of creasing. Black cloth covered boards with stamped red foil lettering along spine. Blind stamped facsimile of signature bottom of front panel. Crimson end pages. Unmarked interiors. [568 pp.]
