Scarce. In worn, chipped, stained dustjacket: some brown stains/foxing back panel. 1/2 inch x 1/2 inch chip top edge front panel; half inch tear bottom edge of same panel & damp stain bottom of spine. There is no price on jacket flap, yet it is not identified as a book club. Nevertheless I assume it probably is some sort of book club copy. Brown cloth boards with blue lettering on spine. Again there is not blind stamp of the type usually used for bookclubs. There is a tiny clover blindstamp, so again probably bookclub. Also damp stain along bottom edge of back board panel. Blue end pages. Tight (sewn) binding of higher quality normally used by bookclub editions. Small brown spots/stains scattered about top textblock edge & textblock fore-edge. Bottom textblock edge is noticably damp stained. Interior text without markings. On the bottom righthand corner of the last blank white page at gutter is this code: MP6H. (736 pages).
