Octavo in jacket with well worn edges & darkened margins. Especially heavy is the wear to top & bottom of spine. Small tan circle -- five-eighth inches diameter -- appears to be sticker residue. Decorations & jacket design by Rockwell Kent. Black cloth covered boards with gold lettering on spine edge. Spine head & base is sun tanned wherein black turns to brown. Front board hss round blind stamped emblem made of the seated figure by Rockwell Kent of front jacket panel. End pages front and back are tanned with some damp staining. Bookplate from previous owner is affixed to front pastedown. Top textblock edge is tinted with grey. [574 pages]
