A well-used yet sound copy in lightly soiled and rubbed burgundy and black covers. Extremities moderately rubbed. Corners heavily bumped. Light fraying to head of spine and two wee nicks to heel. Front cover has a 3' x 2' diagonal crease on bottom corner. Front hinge tender but holding tight. Endpapers heavily age toned. Page edges darkened and flecked. Previous owner name penciled on ffep. Interior free of markings, but leaves are heavily toned with patches of intermittent heavy foxing throughout. Pages 125-140 heavily creased. Transference on a few pages from laid-in ephemera. All maps and plans present, but have been well-perused by travellers and thus lie a bit proud. Teeming wth b&w photos. No date. 3rd edition revised.
