Square and tight in VG- brown buckram boards. Moderate overall edgewear. Corners bumped. Top/bottom of spine moderately rubbed and creased with light chips, bottom more so. Publisher's top-stained edge moderately faded and/or lightly scratched. Mild age darkening to borders. Front and rear illustrated endpapers gently toned, more so in gutters. Front hinge very lightly shaken, not affecting integrity. Interior clean and unmarked, though mildly toned. Clipped jacket heavily shelfworn with open tears and loss at head of spine and top of back panel. Flap creases heavily rubbed with upper and lower chips and loss. Spine edges heavily rubbed. Overall lightly soiled and age toned. Still, not an unattractive copy. Illustrated by Andrew Wyeth. 1941, NAP. FR symbol on copyright page. In mylar.
