Gilt lettering on spine lightly dulled. Front/rear illustrated endpapers clean/bright. Interior clean with no defects or markings. G+ unclipped (3.00) jacket shows minimal wear. Light rubbing to extremities. Very small chips with no loss to heel of spine. Spine gently sunned. 'Blue and Gray Book Shop February 26, 1971' neatly written in ink on front flap above price. Copyright 1946 with Rinhart symbol present. VOLUME 2: ' The New River' VG- in square and tight, clean russet cloth boards. Bottom edges moderately rubbed. Heel of spine moderately rubbed with no loss. Bottom corners moderately bumped. Head of spine very gently rubbed. Top edges show little wear. Top corners lightly bumped. Gilt spine lettering lightly dulled. Front and rear illustrated endpapers clean and bright. Interior clean with no defects or markings. Copyright 1948 on title page with Rinehart symbol present. Unclipped (3.00) G- jacket shows moderate edgewear with minor loss to flap fold corners and moderate loss to head/heel of spine. closed tears and rubbing to spine creases. Vertical closed tear to center of spine. Moderate smudges to rear panel. Small brown sticker shadow on rear flap. Overall an attractive set. In mylar.
