Square and tight in russet buckram boards with gilt lettering and decoration. Corners moderately bumped. Moderate to heavy rubbing to edges. Spine caps moderately bumped, rubbed and lightly frayed. Gilt on spine heavily dimmed, gilt on cover lightly so. Front and rear hinges tender but holding tight. Endpapers clean but for light flecking and/or transference. Old-school arithmetic penciled on rear fep and pastedown. Signed boldly on ffep by Johnson, Kent, Mencken and Owens. Stated First Edition. In mylar wrapper.
