Square and tight in clean red boards with VG+ intact pastefront. Corners moderately bumped with light fraying. Head/heel of spine moderately nicked and creased. Top half of spine heavily sunned. Lower edge of front board lightly rubbed/frayed. Page edges and leaves mildly toned, endpapers more so. Previous owner name inked on ffep. Interior clean with no markings. Heavily worn unclipped (2.50) jacket has chips with moderate loss to extremities. Head/heel of spine show heavy loss. Flap folds and spine moderately toned. Two willy nilly tape repairs to front cover. Light touch grime and/or soiling. B&W illustrations by John Neill. Fifth book in the Oz series. Later printing. In mylar.
