About the Author
Christian John Wikane is a NYC-based writer who has interviewed 500+ recording artists. He is a Contributing Editor at PopMatters, Co-producer of “Unscripted: Conversations with Christian John Wikane,” and Consultant on “Dionne Warwick: Don't Make Me Over” (CNN), “Love to Love You, Donna Summer” (HBO), and the Emmy-nominated Tina Turner documentary, “TINA” (HBO).

Tomi Jenkins is a singer, songwriter, solo artist, producer, and author. He is a former member of the platinum-selling, Grammy-nominated funk and R&B group Cameo. As a writer or co-writer, he helped create #1 and Top 5 hits including “Word Up,” “Candy,” “Single Life,” “She’s Strange,” “Flirt,” and “Back and Forth,” among others. He is the recipient of an American Music Award and was nominated for a Grammy Award for the album “Word Up.”
Jenkins also serves as music producer and creative consultant for the forthcoming film “Icemosis: The Story of a Funk Band,” and is the writer and co-producer of “John Punch: A Documentary.” In addition to his work in music and film, he has published three fictional crime novels: “Crime, Love, and Honor,” “Hope Park,” and “Finding Kari.” He is currently promoting his upcoming solo release, “Soul Survivor.”
