We primarily read fiction and non-fiction from Africa, Asia, and Oceania, but occasionally read books from other continents too. We will mostly read books published in recent decades, but may occasionally pick an older novel. The aim is to read at least one book from every country in this region of the world. Join us if you'd like to read novels from Laos, Sri Lanka, South Africa, New Zealand, and many other countries you have yet to explore through literature. This book club is hosted by Chris Martin, who spent his childhood in Saudi Arabia and India before moving to the U.S.
