We will be reading novels and short story collections that have been recently released or translated, with an emphasis on younger authors or early/debut works. Discussions will focus on critical examinations of the text, contemporary trends, literary history, how books fit within larger traditions, and each book’s themes and ideas. This book club is designed for experienced readers but welcomes fresh perspectives and diverse backgrounds!

The Fresh Faces Book Club meets at Halfway Crooks on the second Wednesday of each month at 7:30 PM.
