We will be reading recognized or noteworthy novels and short story collections released within the past three years, including award winners and indie sleepers. Discussions will focus on critical examinations of the text, contemporary trends, literary history, where books fit inside larger traditions, and each book's themes and ideas. This book club is for experienced readers.

The "That New Thing" Book Club meets at Midway Pub on the second Wednesday of each month at 7:30 PM.
